Glance at your problems and Gaze at your Lord

Devotion for the day

Glance at your problems and Gaze at your Lord

Good morning dear Brothers and Sisters. How are you doing? Let me know your wellbeing so that I can pray for you.

I have been extremely busy with my father-in-law and mother-in-law’s health conditions as they have been in and out of the hospital. I thank you for your prayers for them. They have been healed in a miraculous way.

Many people prayed for them. My eldest brother-in-law in Dubai called for a fasting prayer in their prayer group and prayed for them.

So in tune with the prayers and blessings today’s devotion is taken form Numbers 6:24-26

Here in this chapter and in these particular verses we come across a priestly blessing

A blessing was one way of asking God’s divine favor to rest upon others. The ancient blessing in these verses helps us understand what a blessing was supposed to do. In these 3 verses there are five parts conveyed hope that God would;

1. Bless and Protect

2. Smile

3. Be gracious

4. Show His favor

5. Give peace
Dear Brother and Sister when you ask God to bless others or your self, you are asking him to do these five things. The blessing you offer will not only help the one receiving it, it will also demonstrate love, encourage others, and provide a model of caring for others.

So examine your prayer life this morning for your self and for others. When you pray for others are you pronouncing blessings or curses?

When you want to be blessed in your marriage, finances, health, Job and other difficult situations you are facing today, you need to ask God to give you this five part blessing.

Kindly search your heart and pray sincerely and claim this priestly blessing in your life

Remember to Glance at your problems and gaze at your Lord

Be Blessed and Be a Blessing
