Devotion for the day
Careful for nothing, prayerful for everything, thankful for anything. Dwight Lyman Moody (1837–1899)
Dear Brother and Sister today our devotional text is from Psalm 46
It describes times of great calamity, including war and neutral disasters. Yet it is a song of trust that begins and ends with the affirmation: “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble….The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge” (vv, 1, 11).
The Lord is always at work accomplishing His purposes even when the world seems to be falling apart. He tells us, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth”. (v.10)
Dear Beloved, You may be facing a difficult situation in your Job, Marriage, Finances, Project, Health of a loved one or may be your own health and Personal life. You may often wonder if many of your prayers for help sound frivolous to God. It’s impossible to know, but you don’t have to fear. When you call for help, you know that He hears and will come near. One thing you can be assured of: In your times of need, the Lord not only hears your cry, He is present with you.
Thought for the day: God’s help is only a prayer away
Have a Blessed day
